About Us

Here at the home of Otterpool Ponies we thrive in knowing our ponies and what makes them happy. We pride ourselves on being honest and pairing pony and rider. Aftercare is always part of our selling process, and we are available to give advice long after the ponies leave us. We think ourselves lucky to have such amazing ponies on our yard and only wish the best homes for them.

Our ponies education starts with groundwork through to grid work and cross country, including attending training shows, clinics and competitions. They are also exposed to farm machinery, chainsaws, fires and even meet giraffes (they really do!), so we know what they like...and what they don't!

I purchased Cash in March 2019 and I've been so happy with him. I can highly recommend Lucy and her team as they were very friendly and helpful. They put so much time and effort into starting their ponies education, introducing them slowly to as many disciplines and situations as possible. Lucy genuinely cares about her ponies and the fact they go to the right homes. She is honest with the descriptions of her ponies characters, their abilities and the type of rider they would suit. Lucy was also happy to provide continual support after the purchase, which is great comfort! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a connie!
